You can take comfort in the multiple ways Northern Illinois Hospice supports your entire family throughout a life-limiting illness – and beyond.

Emotional Support

Emotional Support

A life-limiting illness can spark many emotional challenges for you and your family. The uncertainty of an illness may trigger a range of emotions – fear, anxiety, depression, guilt and other negative feelings. Our expert team of social workers and counselors provide education and counseling for your needs.

Spiritual Support

Faith and spirituality can be magnified during a life-limiting illness. Our chaplains are trained to help you connect with your beliefs according to your personal preferences and traditions, regardless of which faith you practice.

Volunteer Assistance

Volunteer Assistance

Grief and mourning make many people feel alone in their emotional journey. Our trained volunteers can help make sure you don’t have to face your challenges by yourself. Volunteers are available to be a compassionate listener as you express your feelings, or simply a companion to be by your side at certain times.
