We continue as the region’s first hospice provider still fully focused on our local community. Established in Rockford, Northern Illinois Hospice was the first hospice provider in our region and one of the first 50 hospices in the nation. Since 1979, we have continually added to our expertise in providing guidance, care and support that best fits our patients’ needs during life’s final months. As the region’s first and most experienced hospice, Northern Illinois Hospice has been setting the standard for quality end-of-life care for more than 40 years. Over the decades, we have expanded our services to care for families in Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, DeKalb, Ogle, and western McHenry counties.
