Human Resources Assistant
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant is responsible for completing a variety of duties to support the daily operations of the human resources department, including, but not limited to, day-to-day administrative support for HR activities and team members; onboarding, Human Resource information System (HRIS) maintenance, personnel files, and benefits administration. Works closely with management and employees to achieve the organization’s goals and compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, human resources / benefits preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with Director of Human Resources in an administrative support role.
- Maintains employee records in HRIS, including new hires, terminations, personal contact information, benefits, payroll, and position changes.
- Monitors clinical staff professional license renewals to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepares and executes new hire paperwork, including job descriptions, I-9’s, and employee handbook and other policy acknowledgements.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and

- Works to improve Human Resources’ processes and participates in Human Resources project work in support of fostering positive employee environment.
- Coordinates and facilitates new employee onboarding and orientation process.
